TRANSFERmation:  our full-day (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) program for Transfer students and their families

*Please note: The Transfermation Express program is abbreviated and will require students to seek out resources outside of the Orientation experience.

You will receive information about when to arrive on campus and the duration of your Orientation when you register for Orientation.  A tentative schedule of events will be e-mailed to you and a detailed schedule of events will be provided upon your arrival to Orientation.

Parent and Family Orientation

Parents and family members continue to play a role of the utmost importance in their college students’ development and education. VCU believes the collegiate experience represents a collaboration involving the student, the family of the student and the faculty and staff of the university. We hope that by taking advantage of the programs designed specifically for parents and family members during orientation, you will become better informed about the university’s academic programs, policies, facilities and services while also learning how you can have a successful transition at this new stage of life.

Online reservations with payment are required. The fee paid upon making a reservation is non-refundable.
